Yorkswood Primary School is proud to have 'Healthy Schools' status. This means we really care about the meals our children eat, whether they're enjoying food from our school meals service or bringing their own packed lunches.

Our delicious school meals are provided by Solihull Catering Services. We hold regular meetings with them to make sure that the food we serve is top-notch and meets high standards.

We are also pleased to share that our kitchen has a fantastic 5-Star food hygiene rating!

For children who bring their own packed lunches, we encourage them to choose healthy options. We believe that helping children make informed choices is more effective than simply banning certain foods. By offering encouragement and praise, we are positively influencing our children’s eating habits.
